CNA-(Certified Nursing Assistant)
Assist medical staff (if and when they are present). Duties include helping client bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feed client and/or ensure they take their medications and assess their vital signs. CNAs are responsible for many client care tasks, which ensure that each client receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need.
Positions
*We are looking for people certified in the following caregiving positions*
PCW-(Personal Care Worker)
Assist client with daily living activities including light housekeeping, grooming, bathing and feeding. Provide companionship, direct personal care, and assist with activities from meal preparation to escorting client(s) to medical appointments.
What Makes A Great Caregiver?
CBRF-(Community Based Residential Facility)
Support clients who have difficulties completing basic everyday tasks. Main duties include administering medications, helping the client perform personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, and following client’s prescribed healthcare plan.
A great caregiver displays care and compassion for their client on a daily basis. They are friendly, personable and make each individual client feel comfortable and well cared for. They provide their clients with a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
A great caregiver should be physically fit enough to help the client stand, walk, sit-up and maneuver from place to place. They should also have CPR and First Aid training and be ready to put their knowledge to use in emergency situations, in case an unexpected critical health issue occurs while the client is in their care. They should have a desire to learn and maintain their First Aid and CPR certifications. It’s also important for the caregiver to hold a driver’s license and car insurance, so that they can transport the client to and from errands and appointments. Great caregivers should be adaptable and willing to go above and beyond to provide their client with the personalized care they need, with a supportive attitude.
